Git - Make a GitHub Account

GitHub is a web-based hosting service for version control using Git. It allows users to view, edit, and store source code online. It is used by developers all over the world to collaborate on projects and showcase their creations.

To get started, follow the steps below to create a GitHub account!

1. Go to https://github.com/join
2. On this page, enter your Username, Email, and Password (Note: make sure your password is strong!)
   
3. Click the Verify button to complete the puzzle and prove your humanity
   
4. Click the Create account button
5. Check your e-mail for a launch code, and enter it on the next screen
   
   
6. On the next page, click the Skip personalization link at the bottom of the page
   

That's it! Now you have a GitHub account.
